Freedom should PREVAIL!
This is my interpretation for the song BULAG,PIPI AT BINGI by Freddie Aguilar. My professor in Filipino 101 wanted us to express our feelings about the song through our drawings. She also wanted to know our thoughts. The song was composed during the Martial Law. For me, the song tries to tell us that we should wake-up, face the reality and dont let those people who has all the power and authority to control our lives. We should fight for our freedom and our rights as a filipino. The bleeding heart reperesents the heart of our country. It is bleeding and full of scars because of all the painful things he experienced. The only thing we can do to heal the wounds of our country is to choose the best leader that will fit the position and be wise enough to know what is right from what is wrong. We can achieve the freedom we've been longing ever since if we will be united as one for one purpose. And that is to let the people know how important it is to to continue the journey of our lives.

nice painting Bebe , i luved it more when you explained it , very rightly said by you freedom is something we are born with and shouldn't be compromised @ any cost..and do our best ..in Uniting the nation against the odds ..to fight for the struggle of life toward constant happiness.
